Did you know? Pakistani mountaineer from Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, has already climbed #NangaParbat and #K2 (Pictured on Summit) as part of his mission to climb all 14 8000ers of the world!
Islamabad Remembers Muhammad #AliSadpara in it is own way. Giant portraits of the legendary mountaineer from Gilgit-Baltistan were lit in 3D on #MargallahHills at Pirsohawa in the Federal Capital. The display was led by Umer Toor to give a tribute to the mountaineer who lost his life in #k2winter2021 while trying his first Winter Summit of K2 along with climbers #JPMohr and #JohnSnorri

BREAKING: The 9-day long search and rescue mission to located 3 missing mountaineers on K2 has been officially concluded with no sign of Mohammad #AliSadpara, #JPMohr and #JohnSnorri. The missions included both aerial and on-ground efforts using satellite images, last collected GPS data of the missing mountaineers and information provided by Ali Sadpara's son Sajid Sadpara.
